Some Blog Love

I'm still kind of a newbie when it comes to blogland. I've only been using Bloglovin for about 9 months now. But in that time, I've amassed a ton of blogs that I follow--and I've also found some definite favorites.

So today for Grateful Heart Monday, I want to share with you guys some of my most favorite blogs. The ones that I pretty much always have to click on when they come up on Bloglovin, or I even find myself going straight to their blog without the help of Bloglovin to see if they have a new post yet, as I've realized that there can be a lag sometimes. ;) I definitely have more than these (and I think maybe I should do another installment later!), but if I had to pick just 5 at the drop of a hat, it would be these ... in alphabetical order. ;)

A lot of times I can't remember how I first found a blog, and this one is no exception. But once I found 34 Magnolia Street, I kept coming back. Lauren is new to New England, has the most gorgeous naturally curly hair, and blogs on everything from the special little joys that come with apartment living to a healthy view of fashion and beauty. My favorite post of hers is "For the Dreamer Who's Afraid to Dream," which reminded me a lot of this post of mine. Some bloggers just have a knack for effortlessly cramming substance and Christian enouragement into every post, and Lauren is one of those people!

Mary is a fellow southerner (we're both in NC now actually!) and will always make me smile! I was paired up with her for the Cara Box exchange this spring and consider her my first blog friend. ;) It was so great getting to know her, and now seeing her blog always makes me happy. Besides the fact that she is as sweet as she is cute, she's in a long-distance relationship with her man (which she shares about often), and they are clearly so perfect for each other! She also blogs about fashion and her love, love, love of baking, with her weekly Delicious Dish Tuesday link party.

I joined forces with Elizabeth for a Military Sweetheart Collection giveaway this summer and ended up making such a sweet friend through it! Elizabeth and her soldier husband live in Hawaii--of all amazing places!--and she likes to blog about military life, recipes, and her baby doggy Duke. And she also recently started Elizabeth Loves Design--so she's my fellow blog design friend too!

I knew I'd found a gem when I stumbled across Ember Grey just a few months ago, and it's one of those blogs that as soon as you find it, you feel like you're late to the party, have missed so much, and may find yourself going back through all the archives... ;) Emily truly has a heart as genuinely beautiful as she is, and leave it to her to say just the right thing and encourage you in anything. I adore Emily and her blog, where she shares the beauty in every day, priceless conversations with her husband, and her weekly link up, Grateful Heart Monday.

Katie's blog knocked me over as soon as I found it. The Most Eloquent Without Even Trying Award goes straight to her. The depth and maturity of every single one of her posts led me to believe she had to be much older than the just-turned-20 she actually is. I think this is the post that initially got my attention. I'm sure any one of her followers would agree, she never fails to blow you away with each post, and her sheer talent for words is unignorable. LOVE her and her blog.

So to Lauren, Mary, Elizabeth, Emily, and Katie: thanks so much for being so awesome. I am so grateful for each of you!! <3
